  • How do i download the EMAS Precious Metal Banking app?
    The EMAS Technology app is available for download on both iOS and Android devices. You can find it on the Apple App Store for iOS or the Google Play Store for Android. Simply search for 'EMAS Precious Metal Banking' select the app, and follow the instructions to install it on your device.
  • How do I create an account with EMAS Technology?
    1. Download and install the EMAS Precious Metal Banking app from the App Store or Google Play. 2. Open the app and tap on 'Sign Up.' 3. Provide your personal details, such as your name, email address, and phone number. 4. Create a secure password. 5. Complete the verification process via email or SMS. 6. Once verified, your account will be ready to use, and you can start exploring the app’s features.

  • How can I change the language in the EMAS Precious Metal Banking app?
    To change the language in your EMAS Precious Metal Banking app, go to Settings in the menu bar at the bottom of the overview. There you will find the menu item ‘Change language’. Click on this item and choose between German and English. More languages are yet to come. Further information can be found in the APP description
  • How do I view my account balance and transaction history?
    To view your account balance and transaction history, log in to the EMAS Precious Metal Banking app. 1. Go to the ‘Accounts’ section. 2. Here you can see your current account balance and the last transactions.
  • How do I update my personal information in the app?
    How to update your personal data: 1. Log in to the EMAS Precious Metal Banking app. 2. Go to ‘Settings’ and select ‘Support centre’. 3. Open the ‘New message’ field and write a subject and below it your change requests such as your new address, telephone number or e-mail address and send the message. 4. The Support Centre will then contact you to make the changes.
  • What should I do if I forget my Access code?
    If you have forgotten your access code: 1. Open the EMAS Precious Metal Banking app and tap ‘Forgot access code’ at the bottom of the Enter password screen. 2. Enter the email address or phone number associated with your account. 3. Follow the instructions sent to your email or phone to reset your access code.
  • How do I close my EMAS Technology account?
    To close your account: 1. Contact customer support through the app or via email at support@emas.technology. 2. Provide the necessary verification information to confirm your identity. 3. After verification, request the closure of your account. 4. Any remaining funds will be transferred to your linked bank account, and your account will be deactivated.
  • Where can I find my IBAN so that I can transfer money to my EMAS account?
    To view your IBAN, log in to the EMAS Precious Metal Banking App. Navigate to the ‘Accounts’ section where you can select the account you want to view. Here you can see your current account balance. Right next to the amount you can see an arrow. Click on this arrow to open a new window with the account information. Under Bank details you will find your IBAN, which you can either copy by clicking on the blue symbol to the left of the IBAN and include in your transfer or forward for later using the blue ‘Share’ field.

    If you notice any suspicious activity: 1. Immediately contact EMAS Technology customer support through the app or by calling our helpline. 2. We will help you secure your account by temporarily locking it and investigating the activity. 3. If necessary, we will assist you in resetting your credentials and ensuring your account is secure.
  • How can I transfer money using the EMAS Precious Metal Banking app?
    To transfer money: 1. Log in to your EMAS Precious Metal Banking account. 2. Go to the ‘Accounts’ section. 3. Select the Transfer action (below the blue account info field). 4. Enter the name and address of the recipient, the country, the IBAN and the amount you wish to transfer. Also complete the Description field and enter a reason for payment (e.g. invoice number) - your text must consist of at least 5 characters. Only then can you click on ‘Continue’. 5. Confirm the transaction and finalise it by following the prompts on the screen.
  • Can I pay bills using the EMAS Precious Metal Banking app?
    Yes, you can pay various invoices directly via the app. 1. Log in to your EMAS Precious Metal Banking account. 2. Go to the ‘Accounts’ section. 3. Select the Transfer action (below the blue account info field). 4. Enter the name and address of the recipient, the country, the IBAN and the amount you wish to transfer. Also complete the Description field and enter a reason for payment (e.g. invoice number) - your text must consist of at least 5 characters. Only then can you click on ‘Continue’. 5. Confirm the transaction and finalise it by following the prompts on the screen.
  • Are there any fees for transfers or payments?
    Most transfers within the app are free. However, certain transactions, such as international transfers or expedited services, may incur fees. Detailed information on the fees can be found in the ‘Fees’ section and under ‘Fee overview’ in the app.
  • What limits does my EMAS Technology Card have?
    The EMAS Technology Card is built to provide convenience and adaptability for daily transactions. However, to maintain security and regulatory compliance, certain limits are imposed on different transaction types. Below is an overview of the transaction limits for the EMAS Technology Card: Daily ATM Withdrawal Limit: You can withdraw a maximum of 1.500 EUR within a 24-hour period from ATMs. Monthly ATM Withdrawal Limit: You can withdraw a maximum of 7.000 EUR per 30 days from ATMs. Daily POS Transaction Limit: For purchases made in stores or online via POS terminals, the limit within 24 hours is 25.000 EUR. Daily Spending Limit: The total amount you can use on the card in a 24-hour period, including ATM withdrawals and POS transactions, is capped at 25.000 EUR. Monthly Spending Limit: Over a 30-day period, the combined total for ATM withdrawals and POS transactions is limited with 50.000 EUR.
  • How do I set up and use the mobile wallet?
    How to set up the mobile wallet: 1. Log in to the EMAS Precious Metal Banking app. 2. Navigate to the ‘Cards’ section. 3. Open the ‘Card options’ tab and then the ‘Card details’ tab 4. To receive the card details, you must confirm them with your access code 5. Use the eye symbol to view and copy all card details 6. Then open your Google Pay or Apple Pay wallet and add your EMAS card details and link them to the wallet.
  • How do I make in-store or online purchases using the app?
    For in-store purchases, use the Apple Pay or Google Pay Wallet for contactless payments by opening the Wallet and select your EMAS card for payment and hold it near the terminal. For online purchases, select the EMAS card as a payment method in the checkout process or use Apple Pay or Google Pay.
  • Are there any fees for using the EMAS Precious Metal Banking app?
    While most basic services like card management and incoming transfers are free, some transactions may incur fees. These include international transfers, currency conversions, and card payments. You can view all fees arising in the ‘Fee overview’ section under Settings in the app.

    International transfers may have fees depending on the destination country, the amount being transferred, and the currency conversion rates. Specific fee details can be found in the 'Transfers' section or by contacting customer support.

    Yes, you can access and use the EMAS Precious Metal Banking app globally, as long as you have an internet connection. However, please note that your mobile provider may charge additional fees for data usage abroad.
